Around the house style: Private slumber party
If I could walk around my house freely, I would definitely wear this style. A short pajama-like shirt with a pair of flip flops. It is so comfortable! I personally love flip-flops especially because they are like slippers without covering the whole foot. I hate wearing socks or traditional fluffy slippers in the house. My feet need to be free, but protected. So flip-flops are the best alternative for me. As for spaghetti strapped dresses, they are so comfy to sleep in, and hang around in the house in...especially in the summer time. May Allah bless and reward us all! ~ Nisa

I've noticed that on many fashion hijab blogs that there is a lack of outfits for inside the home. Yeah, sometimes we hijabis & niqabis want to dress up all beautiful in the outfits that we can't wear outside. Just because we can't wear it outside doesn't mean we are entirely barred from wearing them entirely. Of course we would have to dress for salaah, but throwing a jilab on for ten minutes to make salaah shouldn't stop us from looking guh-or-geeeous. ;) Many Muslim women have husbands that like to see them dressed up, or many of us simply dress up because we want to look cute for ourselves! Now ladies, if you have older sons or brothers living at home with you some of these outfits may not be for you. Your brothers don't want to see you trotting around in Daisy Dukes, believe me! However, if you are single or married with small or no children; go for it! Otherwise, opt for a pair of jeans. :)  The very first Around the House Style on this blog for us hijabi/niqabi sisters is the Hidden princess.
Magical Pink Kingdom
Haha, get it? Hidden princess? Remember, perfume only inside the house! Of course the stuff in the set may be a bit expensive, but options are available. Don't be discouraged by the prices. :) May Allah bless & guide us all. - Nisa

Asalam wa alykum! Polyvore is a website where you can create different outfits using images of clothing from all over the internet. You can mix, and match items. So, after seeing it on a blog called Hegab-rehab.blogspot.com, I decided to register and give it a try. I made a few hijabi outfits that I thought would be cute, and some other outfits that would be really awesome to wear around the house. Of course, being "me" I had to create a pink themed hijab style.
Pink Hijabi Teen

Of course to cover your bum, you would have to wear one of those long tank tops underneath. It could be a light pink, or dark pink. I especially love those sunglasses, and that Hello Kitty Tote bag. -sigh- This style would be create for those gatherings with your friends at the mall on a chilly spring day. Just before you go, download that surah from the Qu'ran that you are trying to remember; and you are all set! ;) If you like the set, just click on the image. Oh, and don't forget to join Polyvore & favorite it! May Allah bless & guide us all! ~ Nisa
